If you couldn’t put the popcorn down watching Tiger King in 2020, Seduced by Speed is the show for you in 2021. MotorTrend’s new original TV Series, co-hosted by Manuel Carrillo III, revisits the automotive world’s biggest misses and scandals, some of which involve deception, drug deals and even murder. Check out the preview below, and then binge the entire six-episode first season now on MotorTrend.

Media Appearances

Recently, Manuel has been regularly appearing as a panelist on MotorTrend’s acclaimed Shift Talkers. In years past, in addition to having co-hosted the Counter Steer Podcast with Ashton Kemerling and Jonathon Klein, Manuel often was a guest on the Cammed & Tubbed podcast. He also made multiple appearances on podcasts such as Hello Road, Motor Affair, Driving While Awesome, Hooniverse and The Smoking Tire.

Shift Talkers brings together the biggest authorities and personalities in the automotive space. Everyone from journalists to influencers will team up or pit against each other in a fun format that encourages debate, drama and laughs.

On this episode of Shift Talkers, we get overwhelmed by overeager designers, clamp down on crazy horsepower, install Tullock spikes for bad drivers, and decide which is better, Hyundai's Veloster N or the Volkswagen GTI. Jeff Glucker is joined by Jason Torchinsky, Kristen Lee, Micah Muzio and Manuel Carrillo.

Matt Farah and Zack Klapman sit down with automotive icons, pro drivers, comedians and other friends to discuss automotive industry news, racing, projects and whatever else comes to mind.

Guest Manuel Carrillo III joins this episode. After leaving radio to work in the middle of Australia, Manuel Carrillo III found a job around his favorite thing: cars. He writes for a large number of websites, films and photographs, but his focus right now is restoring the Porsche 911 he was driven home in after he was born.

Yanked from A cluttered garage, he dragged it to SEMA in its current state; a car that was honest about where it had been. He talks to us about the vehicle’s journey, and a broken Mustang that seems impossible to fix.

From the car nerd behind the Hello Road YouTube channel, Ethan Tufts brings his discovery of interesting places and unique vehicles to your podcast inbox each week. Ethan is joined by co-host and fellow odd-car enthusiast, Paul McCarthy as they discuss forgotten automobiles, memorable destinations, and their most recent automotive adventures.

In this episode, auto journalist Manuel Carrillo III joins Hello Road again! Let’s learn a bit more about his crazy experiences over the last year, and talk about his new show, Seduced By Speed on Motor Trend.

Jeff Glucker (Hooniverse Co-Founder & Executive Editor) chats about cars. Well, that's the idea because it usually devolves into a discussion about life, the universe, and everything ... especially beer.

Hosted by Cameron VanDerHorst (Cam) and Bradley Brownell (Tub), the C&T podcast was a weekly automotive discussion between friends. Occasionally a guest would drop in and say "hello."

Cameron is an avid car collector and freelance auto writer with tastes ranging from a Nissan Stanza and an SN95 Mustang Cobra to a mid-80s Porsche 911 and a Mazda 2.

Bradley is a Porsche fanatic of the first degree, and a seasoned automotive journalist contributing to Jalopnik, Hooniverse, FlatSixes.com, and AutoWeek among others.

The Motor Affair, is about the love we have for cars. A place we share our passion behind the wheel, behind the lens, or on the microphone with like-minded car enthusiasts.
